1、稀土处理炭纤维填充聚四氟乙烯复合材料在干摩擦条件下的摩擦磨损性能研究摘要:本文研究了稀土处理炭纤维填充聚四氟乙烯(PTFE)复合材料在干摩擦条件下的摩擦磨损性能。通过采用摩擦磨损试验机,分别考察了填充量、摩擦力、摩擦速度对材料的摩擦磨损性能的影响,并发现了最佳的摩擦磨损性能条件。结果表明,稀土处理炭纤维填充PTFE复合材料的摩擦磨损性能优于未填充的PTFE,填充量对材料的摩擦磨损性能影响显著,填充量为15%时摩擦磨损性能最佳。关键词:炭纤维,稀土处理,聚四氟乙烯,复合材料,摩擦磨损Introduction:Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) is a commonly
2、 used engineering plastic material with excellent self-lubrication and anti-friction properties. However, due to its low mechanical strength and wear resistance, it is necessary to improve its performance by adding fillers. Carbon fiber is a commonly used filler, which can not only improve the mecha
3、nical properties of PTFE, but also provide good thermal conductivity and excellent electrical conductivity. Rare earth elements can also improve the properties of composite materials. Therefore, in this study, rare earth treated carbon fiber was used to improve the wear resistance and friction prope
4、rties of PTFE composites.Methods:In this study, rare earth treated carbon fiber was added to PTFE to prepare composite materials. The effects of filler content, friction force and friction speed on the friction and wear properties of the composite material were studied by friction and wear testing m
5、achine. The wear rate and coefficient of friction were measured under dry friction conditions. The morphology of the wear surface was observed by scanning electron microscopy (SEM).Results:The results showed that the wear resistance and friction properties of the rare earth treated carbon fiber fill
6、ed PTFE composite material were better than those of the unfilled PTFE. The wear rate decreased and the coefficient of friction decreased with the increase of filler content. Under the optimal conditions, the filling amount was 15%, the friction force was 15N, and the friction speed was 1000 rpm, th
7、e wear rate was the lowest, and the friction coefficient was the smallest. The SEM results showed that the rare earth treated carbon fiber filled PTFE composite material has a dense and uniform wear surface, indicating that it has good wear resistance.Conclusion:The rare earth treated carbon fiber f
8、illed PTFE composite material has good friction and wear resistance, and the filler content has a significant effect on the friction and wear properties of the composite material.
